While in Beaufort, I took the opportunity to explore the Rachel Carson Preserve. While crossing the heavy traffic of the Taylor River felt a little like playing trigger on a paddle board, it was well worth it!
On these types of explorations, I typically bring a small garbage bag to collect the trash of the more inconsiderate humans. A pleasant surprise to see how clean it was. I barely had a half of a bag.
